Help with mail app, cannot load old messages.

I am actually using a 2nd Gen iPod Touch with 3.0, but since it's the same mail app I figured I'd post in this busier forum.

It used to be that when I scrolled to the bottom of my Hotmail inbox it would show me the option to load more messages, the older ones. Now that option is gone and it ends after the 25th message, as if there is nothing else (I have thousands of emails in my account online, they show up on my MBP's mail app just fine).

Anyone else have this issue?

Have you tried deleting your hotmail account and then putting it back on?

I guess I can do that, it just seems like a real pain. It is still retrieving new messages correctly.

How is that a real pain? Delete and add back. It should, what, take a minute or two?
