I am attempting to delete some bookmarks in Firefox. To delete the bookmarks, the instructions are to right click on the bookmark and select Delete. I have tried this with my wired apple mouse and no menu appears. Each time I simply get the bookmarked website when I right click. I have checked the System Preferences menu for the mouse and confirmed that the right click is set for the secondary button. I have also tried holding down the control button while right clicking - didn't work. I have tried selecting one of the other settings for the right side of the mouse and then reselecting the secondary button - still nothing. Any recommendations for how to get the mouse to show the menu with delete when attempting to delete Firefox bookmarks? Thanks!

When I ran Firefox, I would just open the bookmarks folder (was it Edit Bookmarks?), highlight the ones I wanted to delete, and pressed the Delete key. The only drawback is you'd better be sure you want to delete that bookmark, because it will not ask if you're sure you want to do it. Poof, it's gone.

Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Highlight the one you want to delete -> either hit delete or control-click / right-click then delete. You have to open up the organize bookmarks window to do it. AFAIK, you can't delete them straight from the bookmarks menu.

Thanks so much for the help. I tried the Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Highlight the one you want to delete -> either hit delete or control-click / right-click then delete and that did the trick!
