ok a have a preexisting netowrk with the dual ethernet snow airport wireless b station
i have a pc hooked up to it via ethernet cable
and have my quicksilver and ibook via wireless airport cards

my question is i have another airport station (same kind) and i want to connect it to my existing network and extend the wireless range on my laptop
so im looink for help on how to set that up

any help is appreciated

I am not sure but airport 'b' only stations have some issues with being used in WDS mode. Anyway google or do mac help for WDS it should help you. You basically want to set the other station in WDS mode using airport admin utility and join the existing network. OR you can use a network wire to connect the LAN port of main station to the WAN port of the second station. it is called Network bridging or some thing. But the key words are WDS and network bridge (i have read mostly about AExtreme stations being used this way) and there seems to be a penality in the speed anyway if you use WDS.
