hey guys i'm new with the Numbers app I was looking to see if anyone could solve this for me.. It's probably super easy but i just can't see it.

I want to add up the money values together but only if it falls within the range of dates given at the top (those dates are variables) basically ill just punch in my payday till the next and want to be able to see what I have to pay until then at a glance. But only for the days that are >= B3 and <=C3

For instance the answer i'd be looking for in this setup would be $2.00 because it's the only day that falls between the 2 at the top.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do I assume right that 1 in cell A6 represents December 1st?

Well in this case it would but i didnt include the months because I would have to change'em every month. The payments are due for those dates regardless of the month.

It's still setup as a date though.

I'm not familiar with the & operand, and I'm not sure about all the quotes. They may evoque the syntax error.
It looks like you're building an AND condition: AND((A6:A9)>B3,(A6:A9)<C3), but even that may produce an error -because you can't check a series like (A6:A9) against one single cell AFAIK.
The easy solution would be to check line after line in column C (with SUMIF) and in the end just summarize (C6:C9).
