Help with Navigon GPS Signal

Hey! So I bought Navigon since it came so higly rated. I was attemtping to install via iTunes and it took forever (like 40 minutes) and it still wasn't done. I slid to cancel but the app was there anyway. Regardless in my first attepmt it kept losing the GPS signal. I followed all directions on their website and attempted to install again. The same thing happened, took over 45 min, I can't tell if I'm being impatient or if it is freezing. I again slid to cancel and app was there. Still can't acquire signal. I'm so disapointed because everyone seems to be having such a great time with it.

Sorry for the novel. Any suggestions? Has anyone experienced this/solved It?

Just let it install. Start it just before going to bed, and try again in the morning.

IMO, I think you're being impatient - it's possible that it's not fully downloaded so it might not be functioning properly. I can't say for sure because I've never interrupted a download sync before. Remember: an app of Navigon's size is around 1 GB. It's BIG. So it will take time to download and install onto your iphone. Going off of past experience with Sygic, Navigon, etc., these apps took me at least an hour to fully download and another 30 or so minutes to install onto the iphone - and that's on wifi.

So my suggestion is to uninstall the app, then try to reinstall all over again...and this time, resist the urge to cancel the sync. You're gonna have to block off some time and give it AT LEAST an hour to download. And you should put your phone in airplane mode to eliminate any interruptions.
 
My download took exactly an hour this morning. Getting it on the phone took about another 30 minutes.

Be patient and you will prosper! :D
