iPad Pro Help with Open Box order at Best Buy!

So I found an amazing deal on an open box iPad Pro M4 at Best Buy and placed the order. The order is ready for pickup. Problem is the website won’t let me change it to shipping! I’ve spoken to Best Buy customer service as well as the manager in the store, and no one can edit the order to change the fulfillment method.

Strange thing is, I was able to place an order for another open box iPad at the same store and the website will let me change it to shipping.

The store is in Kennewick, Washington.

I am in New Jersey.

Any suggestions on how I could get it? I would really, really hate to let this one slip away…

Can you cancel the order and just re-order it with shipping? Also, I just kind of assumed if you shipped open box products from Best Buy, it would come from their online returns, not an actual store shipping them out - but I've never really thought about or looked into it.

And I see open box devices pop up all the time, I have a few Best Buys within 2 hours of me. It might just be worth it to see if there's any other options available to you locally.

Thanks for the suggestions. The issue is that when I originally placed the order, shipping was not an option, only in-store pickup, so I think it cancel/reorder won’t help. I’ve bought open box many times from my local Best Buys, and they have various ones both in store and in the warehouse (I presume). This particular item was specifcally in the store and it is now sold out nationwide, so I imagine this is the last one left which is why it was discounted so much.

Anyone live near Kennewick, Washington who would be willing to coordinate with me? 😀😀😀

If shipping was not an option then you can't really do anything, as far as I know. Sometime, open-box items can only be picked up.

Agreed, but what is weird is that I was able to place another order at the same store also for an open box iPad which will allow me to have it shipped. Both are sitting in “Ready for pickup“ at the store.
