I don't know how to open downloaded zip files. I click on them and it will unzip and then open script editor which brings up an error message.
I'm trying to download games from limewire...maybe they are not compatable. Are there and games that I can download for a mac?

The Software Recommendations thread has links to some "Free Games" threads. You could also look through or search the Games forum.

If you are looking for freeware or shareware games that you can legally use, I doubt you need to use Limewire. You shouldn't have trouble unzipping games from versiontracker and other such sources.

If you want help with commercial games you don't have a license to use, MacRumors is not the website for you.

Like Doctor Q says, pirating is very-much frowned upon around here, even though I'm sure quite a few members do it anyway (whether it be music, software, etc).

If you're looking for games to download for free, there is a repository of old Mac "abandonware" called The Macintosh Garden. Though I suppose it could be technically classified as a breach of copyright, the owners are very transparent about it and immediately remove any games if the intellectual property owner requests it. Games are classified as "abandonware" when the developers are no longer selling it or making money from it. As such, theory goes that they shouldn't care whether or not their games are available to the public.

There are some real gems in there :)
