if you have used imovie before you've probably noticed that sometimes the edge of your photos (vertical pictures) look jumpy as the move across the screen. Does nebody have ne idea how to fix this? My plan was to use photoshop make a black border only a few pixels wide (so I dont lose too much of my photo) that fades like a gradient into the picture. The problem is that I suck with photoshop and can only make the border black without a gradient into the picture. If anyone can help me with photoshop, or have ne other ideas of fixing this problem with imovie please help me.
-Thanks.

I just finished making our entire senior class slide show for our graduation assembly in imovie HD, and we solved issues like this by using the ken burns effect and just setting the start zoom beyone the edges of the photo (like zoom in) so you dont have any messy edges. It turne dout very nice, also the Reflection Black" theme is great for photo shows....
Sorry if that didnt help!

Edit: One more thing, also note that it looks very different once its off the computer and either on a dvd or burned back onto a camera. the quality is about 10X better off the computer. When we were watcing it on the iMac it was very low quality, but i was supproised at how good it looked off of the computer! keep it in mind!

thanks for the quick response, the only problem with zooming in the picture in to get rid of the edges is that I will cut off some of my pictures because the photo is vertical rather than horizontal. I've attached a picture to show what I mean.
