One of the memory cards for my wife's camera must be failing because my MBA no longer can read it. She bought a card reader dongle for my iPad 1 years ago, and fortunately it can access the photos on the card.

However, I can't figure out how to get the photos to iCloud or even Facebook once they've been imported to the iPad. For example, the stock Photos app doesn't have a button with those options. Email is a choice, but there are dozens of photos, so that would take quite a while.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

The iPad 1 is limited to iOS 5.x and I am pretty certain that this does not have iCloud access. Now that the photos are on the iPad why not connect it to the MBA and copy them off using the image transfer application?
