I have a 6S and was able to get my hands on all the old IPhone stock wallpapers in high def.
The problem is that they when I send them to myself via email and make them my wallpaper they are blurry. How do I resize and ensure they fit the phone correctly and are not grainy looking but high def...?

If the wallpapers are high definition, rather than sending them as an email, upload them on iCloud Photo Library (available for PC as well as Mac). Your photos will automatically appear on your iPhone. You may then delete the photos from iCloud and reclaim space. Alternatively, if you use Google Drive, you can follow the same procedure between Google Drive on a browser and the Google Drive app on your iPhone.

Email providers tend to lower the resolution of pictures when you upload them as attachments.
