Help with Preview window

When using Preview and saving a file I am having a hard time reading what is in the "Where" box as it is dimmed and illegible (old eyes). When I click in it it becomes readable but I would prefer it to be visible at all times.

Is there a setting somewhere that can change this? Thank you

Are you referring to this?

Then click the highlighted button and it will be expanded from now on.
