So I used to be an Apple Music subscriber but gave it up for the usual reasons. So anyway, when I'm logged in to the App store (which I have to be to download app updates) all this music appears on my phone that I don't want. i.e. music in addition to the music I have actually put on my Phone. If I log out of Apple Music, this additional music goes away. Just to be clear--the additional music is not streaming. It appears to be on the phone itself. Yet when I plug the phone into the computer, the music does not show up as being on my phone in iTunes--so I can't delete it. Make sense? Any ideas would be appreciated. I want this music off my phone.

What are 'the usual reasons'?

Regardless, you need to turn off Apple Music in Settings > Music.

I've done that, thanks. And the usual reasons are that it f'd around with my music. Replacing versions etc.

What do you see under Settings->General->Storage->music that's where any music loaded on your iOS device would be

They don't show up there! But they do show up in the music app, and I know they are not streaming because they play when I turn my phone off.
[doublepost=1469754887][/doublepost]Let's assume they are actually streaming. Short of signing out of the App Store, or deleting them one by one, how do I keep them from showing up?

I think you answered your own question. I would sign out of iCloud and see what happens.
