Help with removing program, and installing it again

I had installed a previous version of popcorn. I just downloaded the new version with new cd key and all of that so, I just put the older version in the trash, and emptied the trash. But when I drag over to install the newer version, the older serial and user name is still showing up? Do I have to remove anything else from a different folder to fully delete the older version?

Probably some preference files. Take a look in your Library->Application Support and Library->Preferences folders.

Thanks for the quick reply. I check both folders, but found nothing. Any other ideas? :-(
