My hard drive died with some of my music not properly backed up. So I downloaded Senuti on my new computer and have successfully retrieved the music off my ipod and into itunes and I've backed everything up to my external hard drive.
Question though--can I now sync my ipod up with itunes or will that just erase everything? If so, how can I get any future purchased music back to my ipod?
Additionally, I can't seem to figure out how to transfer my playlists back into itunes. I realize this will result in duplicate songs, that's ok, but there are some playlists I really want to keep.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you have your music on your internal drive and backed up on an external, then go ahead and plug in the iPod, it should sync songs from iTunes to the iPod.

According to the Senuti site, "When dragging and dropping playlists, Senuti does what you would expect it to when a song is already in iTunes: it just adds it to the playlist. It doesn't create another copy of the song. It's easy to recreate your playlists by dragging and dropping them one by one into iTunes."

Thanks-- I will try to sync my ipod. About the playlists though, the dragging and dropping is not working (in fact, elsewhere on the Senuti help it says that dragging/dropping is not supported) so I wonder if there is another way. The only other thing I can think of is that I'm going to have to manually recreate all my playlists, which is what I'm trying to avoid.
