I have my iPad Air hooked up with my Mac mini and all I want is to use my iPad as a secondary display. But my dock is on the iPad instead and it's driving me crazy. I need my dock to stay on my actual monitor. How do I do this? I've tried playing around with the settings but can't get it to how I need it to be. Thanks.

System Preferences->Displays->Arrange (make sure the iPad is connected when you do this). Drag the little white bar for the dock from the iPad display to the display where you want it.

I could kiss you right now. This has been driving me insane. Thank you!

Oddly enough, it refuses to let me keep the dock on my main monitor if I arrange for the iPad to be beneath my monitor. In that case it only lets me keep the dock on the iPad for some strange reason. But I can live with it being off to the "side" since I don't need to interact with the information displayed on the iPad.

Again...THANK YOU!
