Hi everyone,
I just got my Powerbook yesterday. I love it so far. However, it is my first Mac, and am having some issues with basic OS functions:

1) If I have a program, opened from my harddrive, an icon appears on the bottom icon menu. Once I close the program, the icon dissapears. How do I keep the icon on the bottom menu?

2) How do I change the size/shape of a window? (how you can pull the windows around on Windows by grabbing the edges)

3) If I find a song or something online, I would normally right click/ save. Since there isn't a right click, how do I save it? (for use in iTunes and whatnot)

I know I will have more questions, but I'll add them once I come across them. I'll leave this thread as a generic OS question thread.

Thanks

ctrl+click > 'keep in dock'.

bottom right hand corner is grabbale and resizes accordingly.
3) If I find a song or something online, I would normally right click/ save. Since there isn't a right click, how do I save it? (for use in iTunes and whatnot)
ctrl+click is the 'other' click option.

Best of luck, and hope you enjoy your switching experience!

You can also just click and drag the item to the desktop, this will work with pictures, etc.

For #3, I find that taking the URL and dragging it to your desktop will save it. (It works for images, at least)
