Please could someone help if possible?

I’ve just changed my laptop at work to a MacBook pro and my surface ergonomic keyboard won’t connect.

Has anyone else had this issue or know a fix? as it connects direct without a usb, I can see the keyboard on the Bluetooth menu and enter the numbers requested but the pairing light just keeps flashing and the keyboard just won’t work.

Be gutted if it’s £125 down the drain so any help would be greatly appreciated
 
Have you tried entering those numbers with the keypad, or pairing the keyboard to another computer?
 
A lot of people are reporting this keyboard is not compatible with macOS.

However, one did say this: "if you enter the requested numbers on the numeric keypad at the right side, it worked perfectly during pairing."
