you have to toggle the correct items in system pref on your mac as well

Yeah, I'd like more info please. I have iTunes set up properly, but is there something else? With as many people complaining about iCloud, I'm still thinking its not 100% as of yet and am going to wait it out a bit longer before I go to :apple:

Yeah I'd like to know as well! Also this question might have been asked already but what is the difference between WiFi syncing and iCloud backup? I'm a little confused :D

So I went exploring and I see plenty of settings for Mobile Me in System Prefs, but since I was never a Mobile Me user and only signed up for iCloud in the last few days, none of these really apply. I tried to sign in with my Apple ID and it didn't recognize it.
I dont know anything about Mobile Me and the transfer of those accounts, but for anyone only using iCloud I still havent found any other place for settings to get it to work.

ive upgraded to lion.. in preferences theres a icloud tab.. selected safari in there...

but I still not see a place where I can initiate a sync..

*ok although it doesnt seem to be a method to initiate a sync but if you leave it for a while then it does it by itself*

I have the opposite problem - my bookmarks are syncing, and adding many, many copies of them! I have my bookmarks organized in 9 folders and something keeps syncing copies of them over and over. I have over 500 copies of these folders in Safari now and it is dog freaking slow! I started deleting them one at a time, but it was taking about 20 seconds a pop. Checking online I found others with the problem and they suggested deleting the files from the Library folder. I did it, imported a saved copy and things were great...until sometime tonight the same thing happened again! Ugh...

yeah I gave up, for now JB 4.3.3 works ok. I am keeping the Lion this time (I reverted back to SL last time) and I'll wait for a while before I go to ios5.. maybe when it can be Jb properly and icloud works.
