help with text messgs

ok so hopefully someone has a solution to my problem. so i have MBA but i also have a windows machine, and on top of that i have to go to many of my clients work places. were 98% of them use windows my question is how can i send and recv text messgs on the windows machine with my iphone 6s? i use to have a note4 and it just worked no matter which os i happend to be using at the time. but for the life of me i can't figure out a way to do it with my iphone 6s can someone recommend an app that will "just work"?

"myPhoneDesktop" supposedly works to do what you want. I have never tried it, however. You can download it from the iTunes app store.
