I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't find any threads about it but...

I'm trying to back up my files and burn them onto DVD. From what I understand, I drag the files I want to burn into the Burn Folder and then click "Burn". However, how do I know how much data is in the Burn Folder? It's just that I don't know if I will put too much in the Burn Folder for a single DVD or I have only burned 1GB when I could have burnt more on the DVD.

Is there a way of finding out how much I can put onto the DVD before I burn it? Thanks for your help.

Right click or control click on the folder and get info. It will tell you how much is stored in it.

Burn Folder

Do you mean to Get Info on the Burn Folder? It only gives me the total data of the aliases and not the actual files that I want to burn. Am I doing something wrong?
