I'm just wondering if any other U.K customers out there know what courier the iMacs will ship with? I got an email saying mine has shipped on the 30th July, but the tracking number is all that I have, no courier is listed.

I did however log onto the Apple U.S site and I got Kuhne & Nagel Spedition listed as 'Shipped via', but again, putting the code into their site reveals nothing

:(

Shipped to GLASGOW, GB 31 Jul 2010

Estimated Delivery Date 06 Aug 2010 (Subject to change)

Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 03 Aug 2010

I wouldn't worry this is all I have... Got the feeling once it's in the UK and with it's courier it'll be updated.

Go here:

https://www.iec-logistics.com/apps/tracktrace/trk_tracking.asp

Select Europe, type customer reference as apple.

Put in the tracking number from the Shipment Status in the Apple My Order screen (the tracking number is the one referred to as 'Our Delivery Reference Number'). It should look like 8122xxxxxx

This should give more detail.

Mine was ordered on the 29th in the evening, I get this:

So according to ups it might come today but apple are saying the 6th

I've been told taht mine will be with me tomorrow, however it's coming up as not yet shipped.

I'm guessing I can plan on going out tomorrow night

Mine is coming with UPS from outside the UK, I've had the delivery tomorrow, today and its tomorrow again now, hope you have better/more consistent luck than I'm having.

For orders to the UK, AFAIK, the items are shipped en-masse to the Apple distribution centre in Hinckley, Leicestershire. From there, I'm told, TNT and UPS 'bid' for the deliveries and these are allocated to the successful bidder.

I guess it just depends on how many packages are going to a certain area and which of the carriers can quote the best rate.

For example, when my late 2009 BTO iMac shipped (since returned for yellow screen problems), it was shipped via UPS. Next, I ordered Photoshop CS4 upgrade, it came via UPS. I've since ordered the CS5 upgrade, it's coming via TNT, albeit slowly, very slowly (apparently, it 'missed the connection' in Northampton last night).

I just hope whoever is delivering my new i7 next Monday, be it TNT or UPS, that they get their act together better than TNT have this time with my PS5 package!

Great news - a few hours ago the delivery info changed. It now says its in transit with UPS, and will arrive tomorrow which is a day earlier!

I'll let y'all know how my machine goes ;)

Holy crap, I just checked again and my i7 isn't coming Monday any more, it's coming with UPS TOMORROW! Yay!

I am in the same boat, was saying 6th August and then checked back this evening and it changed to the 5th August and with UPS. Looking forward to it!

When I bought mine in 2007, it arrived on the Thursday after ordering it on Tuesday night!

Ordered mine Tuesday, delivered today.

To the wrong address :(

They are trying to sort it out to re deliver now. We'll see how they get on

Evening all, based in UK and ordered a "bog standard" i7 last night about 7pm. Just had an emailt to say its been dispatched and expected delivery tomorrow (according to the apple website). Courier is set to UPS and the tracking number doesnt come up on their system as its still showing as Apples delivery reference and is different in format from my free IPOD deliver reference.

Not really expecting it to appear tomorrow though... after spending all that money I would expect them to transport it in a gold leaf case filled with dodo feathers and accompanied by four gentlement tasked with guarding it with the very soul of their existence! :D

ok, could be the quickest i7 delivery ever?
ordered wednesday night circa 7pm and out for delivery today according to UPS tracking

Every time I've ordered with Apple it was shipped with TNT. But it may be due to the fact that the Swiss Post (I'm in Switzerland) has a partnership with TNT here. It's slow delivery though, it says 7-10 days :(

ok, all items (imac, printer, Iphone & applecare) have arrived. And, my fab work colleagues have just given me a trackpad as a leaving gift!
