HELP with upgrade

Itunes wont let me upgrade. i keep getting a pop up when i check for updates saying "the iphone software update server could not be contacted make sure your network settings are correct and your network connectoin is active, or try again later" anyone.....please?

The server is probably very busy at the moment. If you can hold off, wait till later tonight to download the update.
