For some reason my iMac G5 1.9 GHz, 2.5GB ram loses connectivity to my Linksys router. The router is barely 15 feet away in open space and nothing else seems to lose connection to it. When I turn off Airport and turn it back on then it reconnects and works. This happens, I would say, once an hour. Anyone know whats going on here?

Is this a new problem?

Or did you recently move the router/change internet provider/etc...

First thing I'd say is reset the router and see what happens afterwords.

Its only new because I've taken the iMac out of the attic and started using it again. But I've been using the wifi on other devices and it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Did the router used to work with the iMac was what I really meant by "new" or if it was a new problem

All I can say is try reseting the router and making sure everything is up to date. I don't know enough about networking to help you much past that. Last suggestion I have would be to google the router brand number and mac and airport
