I've been trying to install the windows 7 32bit beta and I get the following error:

Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or
missing.
Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart
the
installation. Error code 0x80070017
Anyone know how to fix this? I download three times and user three different disc.Please Help?

Hard to know without seeing what kind of system you have but I've installed Windows7 beta 64bit on a macpro and it went fine. As much as it pains me to say it have you tried downloading either then 32 bit version again or the 64 maybe. Have you used bootcamp to set up windows into its own drive? (not sure if it'll work with a shared partition with OSX for example). Umm beyond that have you tried different media as far as burning a DVD writeable (R) then a CD ReWriteable (RW) or one of the different +/- formats?

Also maybe burn at the slowest speed possible like 2x?

Trying to give u idea's...

I have a macbook, 3 months old just before the new gen came out, previously installed vista on the machine using a partitioned HD. The error during the expanding files phase of the install.I tried attaching a picture dont know if it worked.
