Hey,

First of all, just so i get this outa the way, i dont really know how to post pictures here, so ill just describe everything someone would need to help me diagnose the problem. Basically i live in college apartment, and there are alot of college student here who know their stuff (Carnegie Mellon Anyone?). Anyways, ive been trying to get wireless working for a very long time right now, so let me tell you what wireless networks surround me so you know the channels and noise and stuff.

Using iStumbler: (Im just going to use numbers)

1. Signal 41%, Noise 9%, Channel 6
2. Signal 49%, Noise 9%, Channel 1 (This is my base station)
3. Signal 42%, Noise 9%, Channel 11 (Im piggybacking off this base station)

Here is my setup:

Macbook Pro (With N) -- Running leopard 10.5.1
Airport Extreme (with N) connected to Netgear (Without N) Connected to a comcast cable modem.

Heres is my problem:

I have to constantly switch between base stations 2 and 3 (mine and the piggybacking) because after 30min or so my connection goes dead, so i have to flip flop between the two. Ive tried changing the channel on mine, and it makes the speed faster, but i still get that dropped connection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, i know that if youve read this far you may have an answer for me.

Daniel
