Recently went from Jailbroken iPhone 6 Plus version 8.1.2 to the new 9.3.3 version. I backed up my phone on iTunes and don't remember the encryption back up box being checked. Now that I'm trying to restore my phone its asking me for a password, and I've tried every password I've ever used with no luck. Is there anyway to bypass this issue? I looked at my keychain on Mac to see if the password will be there but no luck. Mainly trying to get my pictures back on my phone. Forgot to mention I replaced my phone so I had to wipe it clean before taking to Apple Store for a replacement phone.

I wouldn't recommend backing up a jailbroken device with iTunes anyway. It carries with it a lot of redundant junk. You're better off setting up as new.

That is always the advice and I agree with it.

That said, my jailbroken iPhone 6s+ carries the original setup I made with my iPhone 3GS in late 2011.

That setup has gone through an iPhone 5, a 6+ and now my 6s+. I always DFU restore as new before a jailbreak and then do a jailbreak and then a restore from backup. Always nice to recover my sources and JB settings when there is a new jailbreak.

So far it has not bitten me in the ass, but there could always be a first time. I try to be careful.

That's what I do every time.
Backup my contacts and my photos and then restore and setup as new.
Sync my things and apps back on and I'm good.
There's nothing better than a clean fresh install of ios with a new JB. Things will run alot smoother.

Don't think so, unless you had them backed up to iCloud.
