mad jew Moderator emeritus Apr 3, 2004 32,191 10 Adelaide, Australia Aug 11, 2006 #3 If iTunes isn't recognising the iPod then the iPod Preferences won't be displayed. Do you have your music set to automatically sync with the iPod? Have you tried any of the iPod's 5 Rs of troubleshooting?
