Hey im new to this forum, i have decided to purchase my first mac but dont know which 1 2 buy i want an imac 21.5" but dont know whether 2 buy the base model or the next 1 up any comments would b great

It's hard to help if you don't tell us your usage. If you don't do anything GPU intensive like gaming, you'll be fine with base iMac

Well I would like 2 play games but it will primarily be used for my college work

What type of games do you play? Define college work. Do you watch HD movie content? Edit Movies? Photoshop? Photography? etc...

It will be presentation work and database and essays ... Il be only using photoshop for themes for my iPhone ... I play games like world in conflict and gta .. Yea I watch HD movie content

I'm going for the second 21.5" iMac because with the education discount it's actually not that much dearer ... Thanks for the comments guys
