So, I had an old G5 iMac (Pre-iSight) that died a sad sad death.

It was a week before finals, so Went out and bought a cheap PC *I'm Sorry*

After four months (I gave it an honest try I did!) with Vista,

I purchased the 20" alum iMac (2.4ghz, with the 256mb graphics card and the 2gb memory upgrade)

How i missed it.

One question though. are there adaptors available that would allow me to use my 42" TV as a second monitor? (HDMI/Component)

Yes, you'll need Apple's mini-DVI to DVI adaptor plus a DVI-to-HDMI adaptor
or cable for the video. Also, a separate cable for audio. (DVI and HDMI video
signals are compatible, but DVI 'doesn't do' audio.) Here's a good place to
find DVI-to-HDMI adaptors and cables: http://www.monoprice.com
