Sorry, if you post a link without any description of what it is, or why people should check it out, don't expect anyone to. Most of us just assume it'll go to some page that'll load a virus or have a bunch of NSFW photos or something. I'm not clicking on it either.

most people are skitzy about clicking external links from newbies, When i was in your shoues i would quote the website and provide a link from the source, just so people could check.

Newbies have a habbit of trying to spam/hack people,

I think I've seen something similar recently from another home automation company. There are without much doubt quite a number of applications where iPad's big touchscreen and relatively low cost could enable it to be used as a "remote control" type of device. I can easily see not only home, but also industrial applications.
