Here's KitKat for the Note 3.

So the guys at Sammobile are reporting significant performance increase for the unofficial "final" build of KitKat version 4.4.2 for the Note 3. Considering my Note 3 runs fast and smooth already, I can't wait to see how much better it can get. I'll wait for the over the air, but for those that like to flash firmware manually here you go.

There are reports that some international phones in poland got the update but only after being connected via Kies, not via OTA.

I read it's not available on either the SGS4 or Note 3.

The update merely brings three or four new minor things. No new Samsung or S Pen features.

It's a pretty worthless update IMO.

I hope Samsung worked on making it not use 1.5gb of ram with no apps open. The moto x and the nexus 5 use over a gig less ram at idle.

I'm just repeating what I've read on other places. I obviously don't know for sure, that's why I said "I read that..."

But it's true that I'm pessimistic when talking about updates that come from other manufacturers...

But there's a reason for it. I've seen manufacturers drop stock Android features on their updates for years, so I'm not surprised if indeed Samsung or other manufacturer don't include ART on their updates.

Actually i'm the who said that and i can confirm from the person who gets the leaks that ART is not in this rom, unfortunately it will most likely stay this way as the builds that get leaked are almost final.

It's more like 1.3gb but I think thats why they gave it 3gb of RAM in the first place.

This is not windows, unused RAM is wasted RAM in Android.

It has a cache of all the programs that are used often. The difference is that stock android only needs around 300mb to run the built in apps etc. Touchwiz is using over 1gb for solely the OS and built in apps its self. Not cached apps.

Someone hasn't done his research. Unused RAM is wasted RAM in Windows as well. Except Windows 8 uses less RAM than Touchwiz. Yeah, that's pretty sad.

No ART, No Picassos, No collages, nothing .... Though there are claims of performance increase so it's probably not all that bad.

Maybe Samsung copied it, added in a bit of coding and repackaged it as S-ART, who knows
