Here's my dilemma....

Hey guys, this is my first time here, and I must say I like the site. I am trying to do this on a MacBook Pro that I just got yesterday.
So my problem is this:

I installed bootcamp and I installed windows. Once I installed Windows, I installed all of the Mac drivers on Windows. I restarted Windows and got the blue screen, and have had the problem ever since.

The blue screen contains this error message:

A problem has been detected and Window shas been shut down to prevent damage to you computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. if this screen appears again follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

I haven't found a solution to this problem yet, so I figured that I would go ahead and reinstall windows. Simple solution would be to put in the boot disc, reformat the C: partition, and then reinstall, right? Well with the Macbook, when the "Push any key to boot from CD..." screen pops up, it doesn't recognize any keystrokes from the keyboard. Also, I noticed this when the "windows did not shut down safely" dos-screen comes up where you pick a way to start up windows.... the arrows don't cycle through the list.

So now, I can't boot from the disc and I can't start up windows. And I can't mess with windows in Mac. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much in advance.

I think that might be the problem.

You don't need any drivers that I know of since Bootcamp has the drivers installed already I believe.

When I started the whole process, it required me to create a disc with all of the Mac drivers. Without the drivers, Windows didn't recognize the airport or anything. So I'm pretty sure I needed that. Thank you though.

What drivers did you install, and before you did that was it running windows without any problems.

I installed whatever drivers were on the Mac Drivers disk that Bootcamp made me create. It was running fine before I did that.

A little helpful but not much... I am already past that step. The main problem now is trying to get Windows off of the system to do it all over again.

Ok... here's what's going on....

I read the 1st page you showed me, and it was the one that I originally replied to.

The second page you recommended was helpful, after reading it I came to the conclusion that I need to repartition C:.

The third page led me to believe that I have Boot Camp Assistant 1.1 and not Boot Camp itself or something... so now I'm going to download it, and then remove the partition with Windows through Boot Camp.

Funny, I got the same error tonight when booting up my W2K laptop. Running chkdsk solved it, even though chkdsk did not report any errors with the file system integrity. Good thing, cuz I was resigned to reformatting the hd.

Alright MacNut, Everything is going good now, except the wireless network/ airport drivers aren't showing up. Sound isn't either. I followed the directions for installing drivers on the one post you showed me... the one where the guy numbered the steps. It said after the 2nd time I start the driver installation to stop it at trackpad drivers, but that never comes up now. The trackpad IS working. And I keep trying to run it... and the same drivers keep popping up - Radeon and the Bluetooth. Nothing wireless. I did connect an ethernet cable and it worked wired. So now I made a new Mac Drivers disk just incase and I'm gonna try throwing it in and seeing what it does. If you have any ideas, let me know. Thanks for the help again.
