Since we're days away from the launch of the Series 2 Apple Watch Hermès Edition, I though it would be great to start a thread for new Series 2 Hermès owners.

Have you preordered online or do you plan on trying to pick one up at a Hermès/Apple Store?

What style did you go with?

Do you plan on buying additional bands?

What attracts you to the Hermès Edition over another AW version?

I preordered online, went with the 42 fauve barenia strap. I already own the cuff, sapphire blue ST, and etoupe ST, and am absolutely blown away with the craftsman ship that goes into each one. As far as the actual Watch goes, I love the look of the Hermés faces. I am the current owner of the regular SS, but am going to treat myself for Series 2.

Also, that orange sport band looks sick.

I pre-ordered the 38mm Fauve Barenia Single Tour and am expecting it 9/30. I'll just transfer my band from the original Hermes. In my case, I like the quality of the leather band. Yes, it's a $261 premium for the extra year of warranty and the Hermes watch face vs. just getting the strap, but I have gotten used to the Hermes watch face.

If the ceramic Edition offered an Hermes option (complete with ceramic, or at least white lugs and buckle), I may have opted for it). I think the Hermes sport band would go nicely with the ceramic, though.

+1 to both of your responses.

I really want the orange Hermes band and the watch faces.

Seems like stock is extremely limited. I wonder if they'll have stock in stores when it launches this Friday?

Hermes deliberately keeps supplies limited. People wait years for their handbags. While their scarves are mainstream, as is just about any product sold on Apple's website, they may limit stock. The deployment band sold out in the first day. As I recall, the Hermes stores themselves get some stock.

20/10-3/11 delivery for my 42 Fauve Barenia Single Tour. No rush though - my standard SS AW is still running fine.
That sport band....

Got my wife a 38mm SS. Will add double tour brown leather hermes band soon. She'll just have to deal with the white sports band lol.

The 38mm red I got for my wife shipped and is due 9/27, earlier than the 9/30 originally promised.

Neighbor has the S0 Hermes. I love the bands, the faces, rear engraving, and general high quality.

Going to ask Santa to replace my 42mm SS S0 with an Hermes S2. Already have the grey Hermes single tour which is gorgeous.

Saw that the Apple Store in Bellevue had a Series 2 42mm Hermes available. It was the only one in stock.

I read elsewhere that only the larger sports band came with the Hermes, did yours come with both the large and small bands?

That is correct. I only received a large Hermes orange sport band.

If this is an issue, you could always take small power drill bit if you're a close fit on the large to make an extra hole. Some might cringe at this but its really the only workaround for small band wearers.

Now that looks hot! No dock in the box? I'd like a Hermēs watch in Space Grey...
Dock is only included in the Apple Limited Series watches. I bought one separately though.

I'd be so mad!

Can the orange bands be bought anywhere?
The Hermes Orange sport bands are only included with the Series 2 watches at this point in time. There are 3rd party orange sport bands but this is a unique shade of orange so they'd likely create contrast if you mixed them.

Also, I assume the 38mm might include the small sport band. This is the 42mm version so I can verify it includes only the large sport band.

The smaller one is there. I believe it's inside the package where the sports band was.

hmmm I didn't want to tear apart my sport band package but I can press it to be paper thin and even held it up in the light. I know the site says the special band can be configured for S/M or M/L but I'm not seeing the S/M piece. Again, I don't need it.

This also aligns with what the other poster said about it not including a small band.

But then they said they found it.
