Hi guys,
I seem to be stuck in an infinite loop in the iPod Touch version of the "Hero of Sparta" game -- either that or I'm doing something wrong. In the level "The Keeper" (with the giant cyclops chained in the background), I can eventually entrap each of his hands within the two lowered gates. Eventually, all the other foes are also killed-off. The arrow of the game directs me to go to a check-point platform near the center of the ground that triggers a sequence where the hero jumps on the cyclops' right hand (on the left side of the screen), runs halfway up his same arm, then an orange circular button with a skull will appear on the lower mid right of the screen, spawn another similar disk moving in an upward arc to the left four times, then a red button with a skull will appear to the mid left, slightly higher, flash a couple times, then the hero will jump in mid-air, spin in the air, and land on his feet facing me. These buttons do not seem at all to respond to the touch, nor do they give any kind of visual or aural feedback confirming that they were pressed, unlike the blue focused attack button or the red and orange skull buttons that appear after initiating a focused attack. Even if I do not at all touch the screen or any of these orange and red buttons during this arm-climbing sequence, the result is the same -- the buttons appear just as described above, and then the hero jumps, twists in the air, and lands on his feet facing the player in the center of the screen.
I don't get it. Is there a bug in the game, or am I missing something? I tried to tap the same areas of the screen during the intro movie to make sure my screen responds to taps in the same areas of these non-responding red and orange skull buttons, and I can still get to the O/S' volume control/pause button/video time-line display by tapping on those areas, so my screen appears to indeed be touch-sensative in the same regions of the aformentioned troublesome red and orange skull buttons that appear during the arm jump sequence. What should I do?
Thanks!
