Hello hello.

I've been trying to play the classic games, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 for some time. They run perfect in boot camp of course, but i'm looking for a solution that lets me stay in OSX. I've tried VMWare, Crossover Games and that WINE program, Cider or something, but nothing works.

How to, anyone?

Thanks.

If you're willing to boot Windows in order to play, you're probably going to have better luck just getting a cheap copy of the Windows version and playing that. I'd be surprised if either of those wouldn't run in Windows under VMware.

Hi.

I have tried both games in VMWare, with Heroes being abit laggy, and Red Alert not playing at all.

I was wondering if Parallels is worth the money, or if someone knows of an alternative.

Using the 2.4 ghz MacBook btw.

Have you been using VMWare Fusion 2.0? The beta recently ended and the final release made, and GPU support was one of the big improvements over 1.x.
