So I think I've now logged a good 10 hours or so trying to mess around with different ways to play heroes of might and magic 3 with my room mates who have PCs. I managed to get it to run with Wine but then of course when we try to use game ranger, game ranger doesn't recognize that I have HOMM3 installed. I then tried to install the PC version of game ranger through wine also but that was a big fail. Ive tried multiple versions with TCPIP but the game just crashes when I try to select them.
Has anyone ever been able to play HOMM3 on a mac with a friend who has a PC?
If so for the love of god PLLEAASE TELL ME HOW!! lol. So desperate to play.
The reason I dont use boot camp is because I want to run it while in OSX because I have photoshop, flash etc... and all my school programs installed there. The whole idea is to game while studying!!
