Hey all

I accidentally had my phone on High Effiency and now I have a couple dozen videos in the HEVC format I need to convert to a more Windows 10 friendly format.

First off, what is the most straightforward format I can convert them to that wont lose any quality but will make the files more universal?

And secondly do you know of a good free app or website I can use to do this?

Thank you.

iTunes has a File/convert function. Major compression, however. A test video went from ~600 MB to 10 or 20 MB, depending upon whether you chose iPhone or iPad/Apple TV.

Search for HEVC on the Microsoft Store. Windows 10 can play HEVC video in the photos app.
