Anyone Familar with a program for X that allows you to download complete websites, So when you are offline you can just kinda read the news without being plugged in?

There was a command-line based program called wget that could do this. If you do a search on www.versiontracker.com, I'm sure you'll find a nice gui-based web copier.

EDIT: Nice signature... Evil Dead 2, right? "That's what we just call pillowtalk, baby." :D

SiteSucker!!!

I used it to download my website to rebuild it. It's a little wierd, and when you put in the URL to the Site to "suck" include the location of the mainpage (index.htm(l)) otherwise it gets a little confused.

You'll find it on Version Tracker.
