It was free or $19.95 to get 10.1 but what about 10.2 are we going to have to pay another $129 again?
I want some feedback:confused:

I don't think so!!

Until OS 10 is hopping, jumping and complete, I think they will continue to sell new copies to more converts, but the early users will get the same deal as last time. Since I signed on with the Beta, I clearly hope I am right

I predict the next "full price" version will be 10.5:D :D

I think that 10.2 may even be available as a download. Either that or the free/19.95 program. 10.5 will be the next full price update and that may not even cost $129, probably more around $89. No need to worry imspace2, no full price updates for a year or two.

download

i think there is a download avalible because when i was gonna download iphoto, the requirments said 10.2, and there was a link for an update (but it's 36 megs and i am at 56k :( )

 cool

SORRY I WAS WRONG IT WAS 10.1.2

Are you sure it wasn't 10.1.2?

10.1.2

the requirement for iPhoto was 10.1.2....not 10.2....

but I don't think we'll have to pay for the update once it becomes available...I don't think we'll have to make a major payment for OS until we see something like 10.5....some sort of major revision....which could take a while I'm thinking...

"Hey do zou we have to pay it."

Umm, people....what kind of a title is this?? I can undersand your post MWSFconference adrenalin ass problems but umm...like please articulate.

well i forget where i read this (perhaps the register) but i heard that apple was holding off on the release of 10.2 because of this very issue. they were afraid people wouldnt pay for another upgrade so soon. so they have held off the release of 10.2 but continue to work on it like crazy sometimes two new builds every week.

FYI you can still pick up free 10--> 10.1 upgrades at Compusa. I saw like 30 on the shelf this past weekend
