hey guys help on mini 2007 processor upgrade?

I have a mac mini with a T2300 intel and upgrading to a T2600, so under the heatsink I saw the temp. sensor and decided to take it off, but I dont know what to use to paste back on? can I use the arctic silver 5 compound (the same the paste the chip to the heatsink?

Also can I clean the temp. sensor and with what?thanx
