okay... i had this posted at GSM Arena, but i cant get any hits... thanks!

first off, im 16 yrs old... im looking for a great phone that's really cool but pretty durable at the same time... battery life is important, too...

the iphone is the coolest one out, but i dont know about the durability - ive heard mixed comments... id get one easy, im an apple guy, but im afraid id tear it up like my current razr...

also looking at motorolas - ive had them for years and love them and are used to them, so id like to stick with them - im looking at maybe the SLVR L7e, ROKR Z6, or maybe a RAZR V8.

thanks for your help!

So in other words you want someone here to tell you to buy an iPhone? I think if your razr is torn up you will find the iPhone less durable. If you are prone to using your phone, dropping it, being excessively hard on it the iPhone may not be the best $400 investment. I have a blackberry 8703 or whatever from work. I throw it, drop it, move it like it isn't mine (because it isn't) and it keeps on working. Something tells me the iPhone won't do that.

I wouldn't get an iPhone if you tend to abuse your phones. Seems like a waste of money. Besides, besides the phone and the iPod, what more would you want it for? Obviously surfing the web but it seems like a lot to pay for a web browser.

okay, its not that i abuse my phones... my razr fell right on the corner on some landscaping rocks a few months ago. thats the only time ive dropped it, but if that was to happen, id want something that would be okay after the fall. and as far as features, id love being able to use web on the go. it's major to me to have features. i know most ppl on here will say iphone but i need a practical answer... im not against the iphone, but i dont wanna blow that much money on an iphone if its gonna break with one fall...

and why get a case? most of them make it ugly or really bulky... :apple:

there is a very simple solution to this problem your having. buy an iPhone because you WONT be disappointed. then buy a "Contour Showcase" case for your iPhone. it will protect it and still keep it looking GREAT. i struggled for a long time trying to figure out if i would rather display my iPhone to the world or protect it. now i can do both.....just my 2 cents
