Hi everyone,

I recently received an iPhone X as an early Christmas gift. I know this might sound like a small and insignificant issue but for a phone that's worth over a grand, I thought it would be reasonable to at least ask if anyone else was having this problem. The issue is that sometimes when I use the "Hey Siri" feature, Siri's chime plays and then a small popping or clicking noise happens afterward. It's not loud and I think it could be easily missed if you're not really paying attention. I don't know how else to describe the noise, but it seems like something is turning on. Is anyone else having this issue?

Some more background info:
  • Phone is new, I've only had it for about a week
  • Space Grey 256 gb
  • Running 11.20 not 11.21
  • Saw the post on here about the crackling and popping noise when playing music/calls/etc. from this forums and being the paranoid person I am, I had it checked out at the apple store. Genius and I checked other iphones and they were getting the same amount of crackle (so it seems that mine is within the normal range for that). Been testing my phone for the crackle though at high/max volume, could I have blown the speakers causing the issue above?

funny, just checked, mine does it too. It sounded like just a little bit of static right after the "ding ding" chime. I'm on 11.2. I have a grey 64gb that i got about a week and a half ago.
