Is anyone having problem with hey siri not working? Everytime I say hey siri she never answers. I think it has to do with the way we had to set it up with our voice on the new iPhone 6s. I never had a problem with my old iPhone 6 plus was plugged in saying hey siri.

I can't speak for 'hey Siri' specifically but I will say that Siri voice recognition stinks so far on my iPhone 6s. It rarely understands what I ask spilling out completely irrelevant answers

The only time I have a problem with the Hey Siri is when I have placed the phone screen-side down on the table. Hey Siri doesn't work when the phone is placed that way.

It's been hit and miss for me. The 9.0.2 update seemed to help quite a bit. I usually look for the sound bar at the bottom to see if it's listening instead of waiting for the beep. It's definitely more glitchy then it used to be...

Siri dictation has become noticeably less accurate for me in iOS9 on my new 6S as compared to my old 6. And that's when its working. Most of the time, now, it doesn't ever activate. I took a video of it in prep for my genius bar appointment tomorrow, here it is if you want to see. I'm curious if anyone else is having a similar issue. I have tried wiping the phone and doing a clean install instead of a restore from backup, and the problem remained. I'm guessing it's a hardware issue. Most interestingly, it also is unreliable for dragon dictation most of the time too, which makes me think it's either a hardware issue with the Mic circuitry, or a driver issue for the Mic. It happens both with the headphones plugged in and not, so that's not the source of the problem. Really frustrating!

I've been having issues too. "Hey Siri" is a fail 90% of the time I try to get it to activate

I have none of those problems, it is working, unless it is prevented by the sensors (screen down on table, in pocket etc). And it is usually very accurate, of course there are those moments when it doesn't get it right, but they are quite rare.

Haha wonderful! But... we don't really have much use for someone who has only the above to say. We all understand that these features work for most people, which is why the problems are not widely known. We are here for help with our problem, not to try to convince you that you have it too.

FYI, I twisted Apple's arm into swapping out my 6S (an accomplishment since I was not able to SHOW them the problem, outside of the video I took) for a new one, and the problem was instantly fixed even with the iCloud restore that I performed, not a clean wipe.

Sounds more like a hardware issue than anything. I was pleasantly surprised how well it has worked for me so far. Good on you for getting them to swap it. I believe you're the exception and not the monitory so a few phones with quite likely faulty hardware should get replaced.
