I have a iPhone 7plus with up today software and I wasn't getting an response from Siri. I erased my phone and started from new and was still having the same issue...Siri not hearing my voice.

I went into the local Apple Store and they did their tests and discover the upper speaker wasn't working by the ear piece.

I have apple care on my phone so they fixed the issue which required them to replace the screen and 90 minutes later I got my phone back and it was working.

That was 8 days a go and I really haven't used Siri since testing it in the store that day until yesterday and it works only if you raise the phone to your mouth an speak loudly into the upper speaker but if you have on a table or your lap it doesnt hear.

Looks like I will be making another trip to the Apple Store next week as I am working all weekend long.

My phone is in excellent condition could pass as new. No water damage.

If it shows that the speaker isn't working again should I request a new phone as there is something causing it to not work or is fixing the speaker again an expectable response.

I am currently waiting on an express replacement for this exact thing. 128 matte black plus which was a launch day order. I believe a search here will reveal that a certain batch of 7/7 Pluses are known for this. I cannot use Siri, Hey Siri, or front-facing videos.
