The small Siri is not responding to "Hey Siri" since updating to iOS 14. It works with I press the power button. I have done some investigation and I checked the following.

  • Settings, Accessibility, Siri: Yes, "Type to Siri" is off
  • Settings, Siri & Search: Yes, The top three items are marked on.
So I'm lost what to do. Again, Siri works when hitting the power button, but it must work via saying "Hey Siri". The last recommendation that I have read is to reset the settings which means redoing Face ID, the Wallet and I'm sure something else. Trying to avoid that. Any ideas before I go that route? Thank you!

That's why mine was disabled. I was tinkering with settings and found sound recognition. I didn't realize turning it on disables hey Siri. Ended up not using sound recognition, but in the future if one does, can you not have both enabled at the same time?
