Hi,

I started updating from OS X 10.6.8 to OS X Yosimite!
Of course, as I started the download, I didn't look that
Yosimite is 5.16 GB! It is already half hour, how much
longer should I wait?

Thank you, kind regards,

igmolinav : ) !!!

What is the problem? Your download taking too long or has the download finished and the actual installation is taking too long?

Hello,

The download has already taken forty good minutes
and even longer! On the lower right hand corner
there is a little icon that shows the word 'Downloading'!
Under the icon, there is thin a 'bar' that is getting 'filled'
It shows more or less the progress with the download,
and it's got so far only between one third and one half
of the download thru! That is somewhat slow, isn't?

Kind regards,

igmolinav : ) !!!

Just let it download in the background. It's a large file and will take a while.

There is nothing to stop you getting work done while it downloads.

It won't start installation until the whole file is downloaded.

Hello,

Thank you for your answers : ) !!!

It finally downloadesd! It was
interesting to use speedtest. I
think my connection was a bit
slow, downloading at some 2
mbps. Launchpad was for some
reason unavailable in my
computer.

Kind regards,

igmolinav : ) !!!

Hi,

I see, 10.6.8 has no Launchpad!

Thank you, kind regards,
