Just a technical inquiry about Mojave. I'm considering a new- or refurbished-hardware-purchase in the coming months. Could be a 27-inch iMac i7 or a MacBook Pro 13-inch 17 w/ eGPU. Either setup would include an external monitor. I am concerned about window management when using multiple programs simultaneously.
Here are a couple of Microsoft Windows-centric videos about using DisplayFusion (an MS Windows-only window/app management tool) that pique my curiosity:
My questions: is there anything like DisplayFusion available for MacOS, especially newer versions of MacOS, such as Sierra, High Sierra and Mojave?
How does something like this work with an eGPU?
Is there a current list somewhere of eGPUs that will work with MacOS?
This would be especially important if I bought a laptop. ( I currently use an iMac 21-inch, so this will all be new to me.)
