Hi,

i bought airpods 8 months ago and i loved it sound quality was good for me........however i lost them...so bought new ones today from argos, (not through apple) but for some reason the sounds different bass sounds abit punchy not bassy and i felt they had been used (but thats just me maybe as they were opened by me)

my question is maybe i overthinking and they do sound the same ? or have i got a faulty one?

AirPods should be uniform in sound. It’s possible your pair may be faulty or have interference. You could try re-pairing them.
