hello everybody! i have a macbook pro (loving it by the way!!!) but i can't work out how to hibernate it? i've tried using the sleep function instead of shutdown but it drains the battery? any ideas? am i being really stupid!?

cheers

i've heard of something called safe sleep? is this enabled by default?

there's a dashboard widget that I use called "Deep Sleep"

Works great for me, if I ever need to hibernate my laptop all I do is go to the dashboard and click the moon icon, and then it hibernates.
