So, I have obtained a copy of Windows, and proceed to install it on my MacBook via Boot Camp. I'm probably going to regret this, but alas.
My wireless network has a hidden SSID. Obviously the wireless networks discovery in Windows doesn't see my network, but I cannot see any obvious ways to join a closed network.
Also, can Windows even do WPA2?
And now, the lovely Display Properties. I have an external display attached to my MacBook. I want this external display to be my primary display. Now, I have discovered the little context menu configuration of the displays provided by the drivers (oh my, how intruitive... not), I now can enable display spanning. And I also discovered how to magically make the resolution match my MacBook (thanks contextual menu in the middle of nowhere, I owe you one!). But I'd like a little more... configuration, ya know? So I head into Properties. A slew of options there... nice... There! "make this (external) display primary"! So I ticked that son of a gun, and bashed "OK"...
The external display turned off!
Sorry for shocking you all (calls 911 for the guy clutching his heart in the back)... ahem.
So how the hell do I make my external display primary?
And can anyone tell me why is the world using Windows? WHY?!
I knew this is a mistake.
